Yard Duty Helpers arrive at 11:55 a.m. and stay until 1:00 p.m.  You monitor the students in the lunchroom and also help on the playground during lunch recess.

CELEBRATE HERITAGE DAY WITH US!

During the week of April 23rd through 27th several classroom activities will occur in celebration of

HERITAGE DAY 

 

Monday, April 23rd:  Flags Around The World will be displayed across our campus

Tuesday through Thursday:  Classroom Activities

Friday, April 27th:   STUDENTS DRESS TO REPRESENT THEIR HERITAGE/CULTURE (Optional)

 

Classroom teachers will share additional information regarding their classroom activities.

Thank you to the performers who tried out for the Talent Show this year.  The committee was impressed with the incredible talent of Golden View students and the variety of the acts.  Remember, we have THREE different talent shows - two on Wednesday, May 30th and one on Friday, June 1st.  Acts will perform in only ONE of the shows.  The list of performers for each show will be posted on the office windows by April 9th.

INTRA DISTRICT TRANSFERS

If you are interested in requesting an Intra District Transfer the new dates are March 1 to April 6.  Requests received by April 6th will be notified via email by April 22nd.

Middle School Information

  • If your fifth grader is heading to Gale Ranch Middle School next year, below is an information night that may be of interest to you:  Wednesday, March 28th at 7:00 pm  Gale Ranch Middle School MPRThe event offers parents an opportunity to meet other 6th grade parents, as well as the school's admin team. You will learn more about 6th grade curriculum and transitioning to middle school.
  • If your fifth grader is going to Diablo Vista Middle School, you are invited to contact their Foundation President, Jen Lindsay, as they are in need of volunteers.  Jen can be reached at jen@lindsaylink.com
  • If your fifth grader is heading to Iron Horse Middle School there is a parent meeting on Thursday, April 12th for incoming 6th grade parents.  Location: MPR at 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Parents will learn about IHMS' academic program from their 6th grade staff. This is for parents only due to space restrictions.
  • If your student is heading to Los Cerros Middle School (LCMS), please attend an information meeting on Thursday, April 26th at 6:00 pm (MPR LCMS). 
  • IHMS incoming students are invited to attend Jaguar Camp 2018 on Thursday, August 9th, 9:00 to 12:00 noon.  For information about IHMS Ed Fund Click Here. 

 

SRVUSD SUMMER JOBS
